It was very loud, but the fun atmosphere made this meal memorable. My husband enjoyed his Carne Asada tacos too. I wasn't expecting good food, but my Bull Rider Burger (with green chilis and cream cheese) was excellent. Not the most comfortable, but fun for the experience. We saddled up to the bar (literally, as our seats were saddles). It was an hour wait for a table, but immediate seating at the bar. Tortilla Flat was mobbed, and we were very lucky to get a parking place as someone was leaving. There are several places that you can pull over and look at those fantastic views, however. We saw several bicycles, so you really need to keep your eyes glued to the road. of all the twists, and there's not much shoulder. You have to be especially vigilant on this road because. I didn't get to see much since I was doing the driving.
